your hometown techs origin storyYour Hometown Techs started as a collaboration between Shawn Suter and Ryan Berry in April of 2019. With both their experience in the corporate world, and running their individual businesses (Ryan with Berry Digital Solutions and Shawn with The Guru Techs) they created this to give small businesses and our community an affordable, dependable, and fast IT solution when they need it the most.

Meet Shawn
I’ve been doing IT and expanding my knowledge for over 25 years. What began as a side job grew into working with 25 dealerships, several collision centers, and several accounting offices across the country. This all lead to the ability to build this business with Ryan!
We had an amazing gift being able to start our business inside The Spotted Cow Coffeehouse. With the unwavering support from Bobbi (The Spotted Cow Coffeehouse Owner). and the community, we simply outgrew the location. I was climbing over work to get to more work. It was a great problem to have! |
Moving has been a blessing as well, although I do miss seeing the smiling faces of all the Downsize Farm clients at The Spotted Cow. Moving to Miami St has given us the ability to grow and provide more for our community. Having the extra space has given us the opportunity to offer affordable office space to other businesses. We’ve also been able to create a high-speed internet center for those that need a break from their slow internet for a large project if they need! Our goals have always been and will always be to find new ways to provide services to our community as well as new ways to give back!
Outside of work, I enjoy Food and cars. I loving traveling the country, trying new foods, and working on my YouTube channel “Your Hometown Eats.” Cars have always been a huge passion of mine. I love the classics, their look, and their power. My first car was an 80’s Cutlass then I moved to a 60’s Thunderbird.
All this work is for my family. I want to lead as an example for my children. To be able to do this and spend time with my wife and children is a dream come true.
